Juniors

Gepps Cross Cricket Club fields the following teams in the various associations. Junior cricket at our clubs has grown considerably, from 3 teams in 2017/18 to 15 junior teams in 21/22

Gepps Cross Cricket Club fields the following teams in the various associations. Junior cricket at our clubs has grown considerably, from 3 teams in 2017/18 to 15 junior teams in 21/22. 


Boys and Mixed 

Under 10's - North Eastern Junior Cricket Association 

Under 12's - North Eastern Junior Cricket Association 

Under 14's -North Eastern Junior Cricket Association 


Games are played mostly on Sunday Mornings from 8.30am, and are on turf wickets, hard wicket or Flix ( Flexible ) Pitches. 


Games are generally  2-3 hours in length. Training will be one day per week, with day and time to be decided by coach of the team. 


Girls Only Teams 

Under 12's - Girls Strikers League 

Under 15's - Girls Strikers Leage 


Games are played on Friday evenings from 5.30pm and are 20 innings per team. Games are played on turf wickets and Flix pitches. Shorter pitches and softer balls are used in the younger grades. 


Boys Under 15's and Under 17s  ( as at 1st May 2022 ) 

Under 15's - Adelaide Turf Cricket Association 

Under 17's - Adelaide Turf Cricket Association. 


Games are played on Sunday afternoons from 1.00pm  and are 60 overs for Under 15's and 72 overs for Under 17's.  Games are played on turf wickets 


Boys Under 16's and Under 18's ( as at 1st September 2022 ) 

Under 16's - South Australian Metropolitan Cricket Association 

Under 18's - Sout Australian Metropolitan Cricket Association 


Games are played on Sunday afternoons from 1.00pm, and are either 40/40 games if a one day game, or 60 overs a day if a 2 day game. Games are played on Turf wickets. 


A fun, supportive and nurturing environment and culture has seen our program be highly sought after, and it has produced many  representative players over the past few seasons. We nurture all players to enjoy their cricket and have fun, and for those who wish to progress beyond community cricket, we counsel on district cricket pathways for those who have demonstrated the skills and desire for higher level of cricket.
